Halloween Night

It was Halloween Night. Many children dressed up in fancy dress costumes and visited other homes in the neighborhood. At each house, they demanded sweets, snacks or a small gift. This is known as playing 'trick-or-treat'.

The company of teenagers, there were 5 of them - David, Jane, Kevin, John and Irma - decided to spend this holiday together in the old mysterious deserted house. They knew that this house was dangerous and scary, but they wanted to feel an adrenaline rush.

They came there at 10pm. Everybody took a lantern and a toy sword. They were ready to face ghosts, because they believed in them. They started from the first floor. Irma and Jane were frightened. They began to cry hysterically and decided to leave this place. The boys stayed there. Everybody hear horrid sounds. Suddenly, John noticed a silhouette of a man. But when he shone his lantern at him he disappeared. They continued their adventures. Then they went up to the second floor. At first, it was calm. But some minutes later they saw that silhouette again.

It started to approach them. The boys were in the corner. They couldn't run away. But the boys took heart and ran towards the man. All of a sudden that man dissolved in the air. The boys were shocked.

When eventually they were home they immediately went to bed. It had been an exhausting night. After that, they never went to that house again.
