My House

My family and I live in Nikolaev. It is my home town. It is a lovely town in the south of Ukraine not far from the Black Sea coast. I live in a modern and beautiful detached house. I live at 12, Serebricha Street. This is a quiet street in a pleasant area rather far from the city centre. My house is near the last stop of buses 51 and 62.

Our detached house is rather large. There are 7 rooms in it. Upstairs there is a comfortable parent`s bedroom. There is a double bed and a nice balcony in it. There is also a pleasant study. There is a comfortable desk and a soft sofa in it. Downstairs, there is a modern dining-room with a big dinning-table and beautiful fireplace. There is a spacios living-room. There is a large TV-set and a long sofa. There is also a kitchen, two bathrooms, two balconies, a bedroom for our guests and my room. Our detached house has also got a balcony with a wonderful view of houses and beautiful, large fields.

My favourite room is my room. I like it because it is very beautiful, modern, cozy and comfortable. You can see a table in front of the big window. Then, on the right of the table there is comfortable sofa. You can see a large wardrobe near the sofa. There is a dressing table n the left hand corner of the room. There is also a single bed in my room. There is a drawer next to the bed. There is also a modern TV set in front of my bed. You can see two pictures on the wall and two rugs on the floor. I spend much time in my room. There I usually sleep, do my homework, play with my toys, play with my friends and everything I like.

Outside our house there is a lovely yard with some trees and flowers, beautiful summer house and a garage for my parent’s cars.

I love my detached house because it makes me feel safe and relaxed. It is a great detached house wonderful and modern. As Englishmen say, «Home is where the heart is».
