Taipan

There are many exotic creatures on our planet. I want to tell about snake Taipan. It is the most dangerous snake, because it is very poisonous, fast and very aggressive. Its bite can lead to death in 4-12 hours.

They are reptiles because they lay eggs and can’t fly. They usually have from 12 to 20 eggs. Taipan’s babies are more dangerous than their parents because they can’t control their poison. They weigh about 600 grams.

Taipan is not a very big snake. They weigh from about 2 to 4 kilos. They are quite short. They are 1 meter long. Their teeth are 13 millimeters long. They live in Australia. They live in small groups. They eat mice and eggs. They live for about 20 years. They have got grey dark yellow scales and a skin. They don’t have legs but they have a long tail. They have got sharp teeth.

Taipan can hunt different kinds of mammals. They can mask very well so they are wonderful hunters. They can control their poison. They can jump because they are very aggressive. Snakes can’t look at sun. They see very badly but they can feel vibration.

I like snakes very much. Most of all I like Blue cobras and Pythons but my favourite snake is Taipan so I want to keep it as a pet. It is a very interesting creature and I think, Harry Potter speaks with it.
