As for me, at present I consider becoming a businessman. I want to follow in the footsteps of my father, so I have the first hand information about this profession as my father has shared his experience with me. There are many advantages and disadvantages to doing this kind of job. One of the main advantages of being a businessman is that you work freelance. What is more, being a businessman is a very prospective job. If you are experienced enough, you can gradually improve your business increasing your income. Also it is a steady job. Furthermore, you can just invest your money in a joint business and have a profit sharing from it. In addition to that, being a businessman doesn't take a lot of physical strength. All you need is a cool head, vast knowledge of the business and ability to think critically.
On the other hand, there are disadvantages to becoming a businessman. Firstly, it involves risk. Every business involves risk and you should understand it. Something can go wrong and you can just lose money. It is a very responsible job. I can even say that businessman should be a lucky person with great intuition.
Also, I know that a good professional in this sphere must be knowledgeable. There are always many new ideas and opportunities to improve your business. You should be aware of all novelties. In addition to this, a good businessman must be ambitious and responsible. He has to learn to work under pressure. Sometimes you have to work in crisis, so you have to be patient and confident. All things considered, becoming a businessman is a good choice for me because in my opinion, I'm suited for this occupation. First of all, I am aware of all the risks and difficulties involved. In addition to that, I am ambitious, responsible and confident. Moreover, I am interested in Maths and English and I believe that these subjects will help me in my future job. Finally, I am good at communicating and critical thinking. Anyway, I still have some years ahead to make a final decision. But now I know for sure that I must focus on such subjects as Maths, English and Economics because they will be necessary for my future career.
On the other hand, there are disadvantages to becoming a businessman. Firstly, this job is very risky. Sometimes investments turn out to be unprofitable. If they don’t justify themselves your business will die. Moreover, business is very a tiring occupation, because your business is like your child so you have to be dedicated. Also, you will have too many meetings with investors and business partners. Besides that, sometimes you have to work overtime when you need to accept or decline offers about advertisement or investing. In addition to that being a businessman is very stressful occupation when you don’t know what to do and spectate how your business slowly dies.
Also I know that a good professional in this sphere must be responsible because he is responsible for fate of his business. A good professional in this sphere needs to be persuasive to convince investors to invest money. A good professional must be able to work under pressure because when everything is going to hell he needs to make right decisions to revive his company. And a good professional in this sphere has to have good communication skills to communicate with other people easily.
All things considered, becoming a businessman is a good idea for me because in my opinion, I’m suited for this occupation. First of all, I am aware of all the difficulties involved. In addition to that I’m confident, intelligent, ambitious. Moreover I’m interested in English, Law Study and Math. Finally I’m good at communicating with people. Anyway , I still have some years ahead to make a final decision. But I know for sure that I must focus on such subjects as English and Law Study because they will be necessary for my future career.
