As for me, at present I consider becoming a lawyer. I want to follow in the footsteps of my uncle, so I have the first hand information about this profession as my uncle has shared his experience with me. There are many advantages and disadvantages to doing this kind of job.

One of the main advantages of being a lawyer is that it is well-paid. Besides this you can work freelance. This profession is interesting however you have to work overtime. Furthermore, this job is exciting and prestigious. Moreover lawyer is demanded (profession) too. Now lawyers are needed in each company, and career growth is directly related to the experience and prestige of the company. In addition to that, this job guarantees you paid holidays and a raise in salary. What is more you always can defend yourself in court because you know the rights and laws! Besides this you can open your company and offer your services. Moreover, in this profession there are many specializations. The most famous are judge, prosecutor and counsel. So, is diverse profession, which means that a lawyer will never remain without work. Now a tprofessional lawyer can work at prosecutors or various security services. Do you agree that this is not a bad chance to be a useful citizen of our country?

On the other hand, there are disadvantages to becoming a lawyer. Firstly, this job is tiring and exhausting. Besides this you must work overtime. It is a difficult profession; it requires nerves made of steel. Moreover this profession is stressful! In addition to that, half of your time at the work you will spend working on computer and doing paper work. Besides you must be aware of high competition. Don’t forget that the career is difficult to build. In addition to that, it is worth remembering that the number of budget places in universities is limited.

Also, I know that a good professional in this sphere must has to be persuasive and dedicated. As my uncle said that lawyer’s profession requires self-confidence, sociability, excellent memory, observation, readiness for stressful situations and for paperwork. To my mind, people who plan to work in this area must be accurate in everything, logical and understanding. On the other hand, you need to be ambitious and intelligent. You must be dedicated to your work. In this profession you should be friendly and polite too.

All things considered, becoming a lawyer is a good idea for me because in my opinion, I am suited for this occupation. First of all, I am aware of all the risks involved. In addition to that, I am, attentive and possess good concentration! Moreover, I am interested in history, science of law and geography. Finally, I can stand on my own and achieve everything I want!!! Anyway, I still have some years ahead to make a final decision. But now I know for sure that I must focus subjects as history and geography because they will be necessary for my future career.
