Creed II

The name of my favourite movie is Creed II. It was directed by Steven Caple Jr. It was released in 2018 by Warner Bros. Pictures. The cast is superb. Michael B. Jordan, who starred in the film, gave an excellent performance. It was the greatest blockbuster. The box office was 214 million dollars. The film received excellent reviews, especially from true fans of the movies about Rocky Balboa.

I first saw this movie with my friends at the movie theatre right after it was released. Then I watched it one more time. I have memorized the entire script which is really well written by Sylvester Stallone. I like this movie because it is really motivating. I often watch some episodes cut from this film and motivating scenes. It inspires me to work.

The plot is the following. It is the classical sport drama about the standoff between two boxers. The scene is laid in LA. The story is set in nowadays. My favourite character is Adonis Creed. He was played by Michael B. Jordan. The thing which I like about the character is his strong power of will. Adonis Creed is an American boxer, the son of legendary Apollo Creed. His couch was the legendary boxer Rocky Balboa. Adonis won the WBC World Heavyweight Championship and became the strongest boxer in the USA and probably in the world. However, he was challenged by a very strong Russian boxer Viktor Drago. The matter is that his father Ivan Drago 33 years earlier had killed Adonis's father Apollo Creed. Adonis accepted the challenge because he wanted to revenge for his father. But Rocky understood, that Adonis wasn't ready to fight. So he refused to help Adonis, because when Drago had killed Apollo Creed, Rocky had been watching the fight and he had to throw a white towel on the ring as a sign of capitulation, but he hadn’t. Adonis was really very strong and he was not afraid. I don't want to tell all script not to spoil your viewing.

The film makers created a superb plot with brilliant characters. The acting of all actors was totally outstanding. The sound track "Check" composed by Rick Ross has become a real hit. Motivating music in the movie was cool. Parts of the film were so unexpected that I almost jumped out of my seat.

I've seen the film two times. The story is excellent, the casting, the plot, the acting and other aspects of the movie are superb. The movie deeply touched me and became the most favourite movie I have ever seen. I advise everyone to watch this film!
