When I grow up, I want to be a movie director. Since early age I have liked going to the cinema. But at my 8-9 years of age I began to notice small flaws and sometimes I didn’t like how actors played and conveyed their emotions. And now I often watch scary movies. I usually notice the inconsistency of main heroes. For example, if a hero has heard a strange noise in a basement at night, he goes there, but I don’t think that people will do that in real life.

So my dream is to make a film with my script. I will shoot horror films like “It” and “The Ring”. I will conduct a high-quality selection of actors. Maybe I will work with famous actors of Hollywood. But I will make them play perfectly. I will have a very big team. I will even have my own studio. I will make high-quality and very interesting films with my team. I think I will be a good director and my films will be watched all over the word. So I will receive huge fees. But if I want to be an unusual director I must work very hard.

But what do I know about movie director’s job? Movie director writes scripts for films. He selects actors for main roles. He leads the film crew. To be successful director I must be sociable and friendly because I must work with people, and I must know how people behave in different situations. I must be imaginative to invent interesting and unique films. I must be strong willed, because directors usually have very long shooting days. I must be energetic to work at night as active as in the morning. I also should be brave because I will shoot horror movies and I mustn’t be afraid of my masterpieces. I must also be determined, and if I have difficulties, I must not give up and go to my goal.

When I finish school I will go to study at university. To be a movie director I have to study for 5 years. I must learn languages and be competent because I will write scripts. I must learn computer science to understand something about video editing. At University I definitely need to learn acting and other subjects related to the cinema. I think studying won’t be easy, but I am ready to work really hard. A director has to work long hours. I will also work at nights. I must practice a lot. After I graduate from the university, I will begin to work. At the beginning I will make little videos. Then I’ll get more difficult films, and then I finally can make my own films.

So my dream is to become a very popular and good director. I will try to do my best. And maybe someday I will receive The Academy Award.
