On the 7th of January, 2021 Elon Reave Musk became the richest man in the world. Elon Musk is an American engineer, businessman and investor. When he was a child, he read a lot. Having photographical memory and having read two complete sets of encyclopedias he became know-it-all. However, he wasn’t popular with peers. He got his first computer at the age of 10 as a present and learned to program on it. At the age of 12 he sold his first program for 500 dollars. It was a videogame Blaster in which gamer was firing at a range of creatures from outer space from a laser gun. He founded his first company Zip2 Corporation in 1995. After that Elon Musk became the creator such companies as X.com, PayPal, Space X, OpenAl, Neuralink, The Boring Company. In 2018 The Boring company opened test subway for cars. Elon is sure that it will be cheaper, faster and more comfortable than traditional metro.
Elon’s character has many sides. He’s an open, public person and a strategic thinker. He is concerned about the future of the whole mankind. All his projects reveal the creative side of his character. Elon does charity work a lot. He became a charitable foundation chairman, it is called Musk Foundation. For example, he donated one million dollars to plant trees in the states, which had suffered from forest fires. On the other hand Elon Musk is often criticized and his name is associated with several scandalous incidents. Also he had problems with his first wife and they finally divorced in September 2008. Elon has seven children and some of them have unusual names, for example X Æ A-12.
Elon’s favourite activities are planes, cars and films. He is a member of the project zero Gravity which involves reaching a state of null gravity on board a plane. Also he is an actor who plays himself in some films.
As for me, I admire this person because Elon Musk earns the money by developing innovative business and makes the science fiction come true.
