Amybeth McNulty is an Irish-Canadian actress. She is celebrated for her starring role as Anne Shirley in the Netflix drama series Anne with an E, based on the novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. She first appeared on the big screen in 2016 in the horror fantasy film Morgan. McNulty is set to star in several upcoming film projects and is promoted as one of the industry’s most promising stars.

Amybeth was born in Ireland in the family of Irish father and Canadian mother. She was educated at home. In one interview, she stated that she had never been to school. "It’s great, she said about homeschooling, I really liked it, and I don’t think I missed anything". At present she mainly studies on the Internet. She described it as «a kind of self-discipline». When she was younger, she was more interested in dancing and was educated in ballet. Later she became involved in theater and staged amateur performances at the «an Grianán Theatre» in Letterkenny.

They wanted a boy to help them when they were old, but a girl came to them. At first, they wanted to refuse, but Anne was charming and they couldn’t do it. Amybeth herself resembles her character. I have watched all three seasons and like watching it over and over.

This series pushed me to read the novel Anne of Green Gables and to learn more about the author and the other TV version of it.

Personally me, she motivates not to give up and go straight towards my goal. Success doesn`t have a definite date when it comes: at 18 or 40. The key is to do something for it. Sometimes an 18-year-old girl can be more successful than a 30-year-old man.
