THERE IS SALVATION!
by Sasha Goncharova, 8c

It was a sunny afternoon. David and his friends were sailing along the coast, enjoying the warm weather. A light breeze was blowing across the bay. They all felt relaxed. Rick and Tyler were helping David sail the boat as the others were sitting talking about their plans for summer holidays. Suddenly, the wind started blowing strongly and the sea became rough. Waves began crashing against the boat, making everyone lose their balance. Dark clouds covered the sky. David was trying to lower the sails when Rick cried “Where’s Tyler?”

A very strong wind was blowing, the sail was shaking violently David was out of control, he was very confused. Rick was frightened and held on with all his might, but suddenly sounds were heard somewhere behind. It was Tyler who was already out of the boat. A strong wind blew poor Tayler out into the stormy sea. Rick, frightened, began to help him, he threw him a rope so that he could resist, but he was no longer in a state of strength. And Rick found finds a lifebuoy, and after several unsuccessful attempts, Tyler ended up on the boat. He felt the cold and the wind eating him. They all pulled on the sails, and it was difficult for them to steer the ship.

They were scared to death. As the bottom of the boat leaked, there was a lot of water under their feet. Rick shouted in panic: “The boat is sinking! What can we do, we're drowning!" To which David shook Rik by the shoulders and answered intently: “Listen to my command! Now everyone has to put on their own safety jets and lifebuoys!" Everyone quickly dressed and saw that the boat was already sinking when David suddenly jumped into the sea, but did not drown, as he was held by a lifebuoy and a vest. The others jumped after him. As soon as they were grouped and joined hands, the boat had already sunk to the bottom. The waves carried them in different directions. They heard the sounds of wind and water in their ears. They had no strength, it was very cold, and they were wet.

The sea calmed down, but they also sailed on the high seas themselves, hoping for rescue. Soon, a huge ship was seen in the distance from the sunset and the friends were very much for it and shouted "WE ARE HERE!!!" There were cries of relief, as they already knew that they had been noticed and would be rescued. And here they are on the ship in comfortable dry clothes, drinking warm green tea and telling their story to the rescuers. They were calm, as they knew that they were alive and returning home in a warm sunset.
