The Man Who Didn’t Share Anything

  There once was a rich man who lived alone in a big modern house. His name was Mike. He always came in time because he knew the proverb «Time is money». So everyday he worked very hard an earned much money. And of course he had many friends because he was an influential person. But nobody of his friends knew that he was very greedy.

He loved all the things that he acquired and put them on display showing that others had not even dreamed of it. He had all types of the coolest cars, many houses in the most beautiful countries. He always thought that everything should belong only to him. One day this man was sitting on the balcony with an ocean view, with his best friend. It seems his name was Dave. No, he wasn’t a millionaire like our hero. He was this man’s only childhood friend. Dave had been working at a factory producing dairy products. But his boss fired him for being late. Dave did not have enough money to support his family and he turned to Mike for help. Аnd at that moment Mike found out that a new model of the car had come out and drove Dave away. So he lost his best friend.

The next day Mike as usual went to work with a smile on his face, because he had bought one more car. He was happy because no one had such a car. He passed by a woman with a child who had lost their home and did not even pay attention to them.

He ceased to respect other people except himself. But he acquired everything new and new for himself. Mike became completely alone. He sat surrounded by his wealth. He sat in complete silence, apart from the ticking of expensive watches on the wall. He did not hear the merry and contagious laughter of friends and didn’t have any evening gatherings at the campfire.Then he realized that happiness is not only in wealth.He took the most expensive things and gave it to all the poor and friends.

So he replaced all his useless dear things with good friends.
