LET’S PARTY: Ani’s birthday

My Birthday Party

  I would like to tell you about my tenth birthday because it was the most unforgettable party I had ever had. Birthday is a very wonderful day. Everybody likes to celebrate it. It is a good opportunity to spend time with friends, parents, relatives. Every year I celebrate my birthday. But my parents and I decided to celebrate my tenth with a huge party. My birthday took a place at the “Workshop of the holiday”. It was held all evening.

  The preparations didn`t take a long time. We didn`t do the shopping, didn`t make the food because we turned to the professional organizers of children's holidays for the help. Together we selected decorations for my party. After that we ordered delicious dishes and an enormous cake with candles in the place where I celebrated my birthday. Up to 4 days before my birthday I wrote invitations. And on the next day I invited guests.

  At last the big day came. Everything was perfect: the music, the decorations and the entertainment. At six o'clock my friends came to congratulate me and I was glad to see them. They gave me presents. There were flowers, books, sweets… I thanked them all. I was excited when the show began. It was something magical, something turning reality into a fairy tale, where dreams come true. During our party we sang songs, danced, made jokes and spoke about our hobbies, and future. It was an unforgettable moment when I saw my birthday cake. Because I didn`t know what it looked like. While I was blowing out the candles my friends sang the traditional Happy Birthday song. The cake was very big and tasty… I was very grateful to my friends for coming.

  I think that we had a great time. My mother couldn`t take her eyes off happy faces of my friends and me . And it meant that everything went perfect. The memories of my birthday will stay with me forever.
