EVERYTHING THAT DOESN’T KILL US IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE US STRONGER: Do Teachers Need Any Rules?

Students of all schools of the world have a lot of rules and responsibilities. In my opinion they are necessary because they make us more disciplined, organized and mature. But I am sure that teachers should follow some strict rules as well.
The most important thing in my opinion is that teachers are obliged to treat pupils with respect. They may make a comment however they oughtn’t to raise their voice. Every person was a child and could be naughty, laugh and talk at the lesson, or didn’t listen to the teachers and this is normal, because this is a natural process of growing up. Of course an abuse is unacceptable.
The second point I would like to raise is that teachers scold and put bad marks to students for not doing HW. I think that students themselves are responsible for their future and must decide for themselves whether they want to achieve something in life. Just in the end of the quarter the teacher can give them a test work which will be their main appraisal. Besides, teacher has to explain to student the material that he didn’t understand even if it takes some time. This will greatly increase students success rate.
Furthermore it should be forbidden to collect our telephones during tests because these are our personal items. One time my classmate handed over his phone and then it was returned to him with the broken camera. I wouldn’t like to have similar experience. I absolutely agree with the thought that our telephones distract us from educational process and I want to offer a solution of this problem. In many European and American schools the telephones are put into a special safe before lessons and are kept there until the end of classes. And the last thing I would like to add is about special dress code for teachers. Some teachers in our school sometimes look quite defiant, so it should be required to wear a strict elegant suit. Teachers aren’t supposed to wear miniskirts, high heeled shoes or tight clothing. They should look restrained and thus set an example to students.
To cap it all, I think that our school is the best and our teachers are excellent. And why not to follow these simple rules to become even better?!
