EVERYTHING THAT DOESN’T KILL US IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE US STRONGER: New Rules for Teachers

There are many worthy and useful professions in the world. One of the most important fields nowadays is education. That’s why teachers are respected worldwide. Each teacher has rights and duties that have been spelled out for a long time. I am going to present you new rules for teachers.

• I know that students often get tired at the lessons. I suggest a 5-minute rest or to do some exercises. Usually teachers allow us to do exercises only when the principal is sitting at the lesson.

• Teacher should never humiliate students, shout at them, especially in the presence of peers. If student complains that the teacher insults him, then for the first time he will be warned, and the next time he will be fired. Even when students test teacher`s patience, they must remain calm and collected.

• I believe that it would a great idea if a teacher didn`t conduct classes in a conventional way once a week. I mean, that a topic could be studied playing games or something like this. I think that material would be assimilated better.

• Sometimes students ask teachers stupid questions. But I think it`s wrong if teacher tells student at the lesson that it was a stupid question. Teachers should always be prepared to answer students’ questions concerning lesson, even the most unsuccessful ones. Students should always feel comfortable. When teacher refuses to answer the student’s question, then other students will refrain from questions, fearing the same negative grade.

To cap it all I want to say that it`s time to change rules for teachers. Adults should listen a little to the students so that students learn comfortably and with pleasure.
