MY ROLE MODEL

Some people may think all celebrities make negative impacts on us no matter how good they are and that they are not supposed to be categorized as role models. However, I define a role model as a person who inspires us to do something good in life. So I believe that celebrities can be categorized as role models. However, we should be cautious when choosing a role model as it can turn us into a completely different person. If you have a good example – you will become better. To my mind, for this essay I have chosen a good example as I have reasons to call this person a good man.

Harry Edward Styles (born on the 1 st of February, 1994) is an English singer, songwriter, and actor. His musical career began in 2010 as a solo contestant on the British music competition series The X Factor. Following his elimination early on, he was brought back to join the boy band One Direction, which went on to become one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.

Harry is a handsome man with stunning features and extraordinary curly hair. So it won't surprise anyone, if I say that , nowadays many teenagers and some women who were teenagers when 1D (One Direction) just started, have a crush on him.

However, in our life many people have charming appearance, but are not charming inside. I strongly believe that good character is much more important though nobody is perfect. To start with, I can actually say that Harry Edward Styles is a creative person with many ideas. He wrote all his songs by himself. Also, he came up with the name of their band. Harry is a hardworking person. As he says in his interviews, the song "Watermelon sugar" was written in one day, but the end of this song was being written during one year, because Styles didn’t want to release the draft and he always feels responsible about everything he does.

He is the man who takes everything close to his heart.

This is his quote, and I think it perfectly proves what I have said.

This picture doesn’t mean that he grew up without being told that he was beautiful. Absolutely not. That means, he is sensitive, but only in times where he can afford it. Harry Styles is a really warmhearted person though I can’t call it regular charity work.

Also, I can say that he is a smart man with clever thoughts and in the Net we can find a lot of his wise quotes.

Harry Styles doesn't support any clichés. Harry Styles has hit back at conservative commentator Candace Owens, who criticized him for wearing a dress on the cover of Vogue. In November, the singer became the first solo male to grace the cover of Vogue magazine, wearing a Gucci gown. A number of conservative critics took issue with Styles bending “gender rules” — including right-wing commentator Candace Owens, who sparked debate by tweeting “bring back manly men” in reaction. As Harry Styles wrote in his Twitter and I have the same opinion - “Clothes, colors , makeup and nails style have no gender.”

"Treat People with Kindness", also abbreviated to "TPWK", is a slogan used by Styles to promote his message of love, acceptance and kindness to people. Styles started using the slogan on his debut concert tour in 2017, on a badge on his guitar and on tour merchandise, including Pride t-shirts sold to raise funds for GLSEN. In a December 2019 interview he said, "It was a pin I had on my guitar strap and we made t-shirts for it, then I saw a lot of tshirts around. I'd be driving or something and see someone in one and I started feeling like, 'Oh this is a bit of a thing'". This gave Styles the idea of writing a song to go with the slogan titled "Treat People with Kindness", which is the penultimate track on his second studio album, Fine Line.

The last but not the least, Harry loves his fans so much. At his concerts he always communicates with fans in many ways.

To cap it all, I can honestly say that Harry Styles could be a really good role model. He has good character features he is kind and supportive. As a singer, he gives to his fans much motivation and love. I chose him, because firstly his personality is very appealing to me secondly I wanted to tell everyone about this complicated person.
