What Makes Our Native Country Stand Out

Probably each of us has thought about what a native country is, what makes it stand out among thousand of other countries. What is my country like? Why is it the best for me?
My motherland is my Ukraine, which has the advantageous geographical position. We have everything in order to exist and to develop. Golden wheat fields are the wealth of Ukraine. That is why our flag is yellow, which symbolizes the endless fields of wheat. The second colour on the flag is blue - the clear sky of our country. Many people know our country due to the world famous poets such as Shevchenko, Franko; delicious and generous cuisine and hospitality. The boxers Klitschko glorify Ukraine in the sphere of sport. These are the most stereotypical notions that come to mind of a foreigner when he hears about Ukraine. It's time to call to memory other achievements of our country.
Ukraine's population is among the most educated ones. The number of people with higher education is higher than the average level. Ukraine occupies the fourth place in the world in the number of citizens with higher education. At the competition of the most beautiful language in Paris in 1934, the Ukrainian language took the third place after French and Persian. The longest musical instrument in the world that is listed in the Guinness Book of Records is the Ukrainian trembita. Its length can reach four meters and its sounds are heard more than for ten kilometers. Did you know that in Ukraine, in the small town Rakhiv, surrounded by the picturesque Carpathians the geographical center of Europe is located?
It should be noted that the Carpathian Mountains are a real pride of every citizen, the place I love the most. It's a real pearl of fabulous mountain scenery created by nature in the south western part of Ukraine. This land is described in the legends and poetry, warmed by the love of its inhabitants, always open for everyone who wants to join the miracle. There is nothing above you in Ukraine, when you are standing on the highest peak of the country - mountain Hoverla. How exciting it is to feel the wind whistling in the ears, almost touching the clouds and to see majestic mountains and wide valleys in front of you! I was lucky to climb Hoverla a couple of years ago and I will never forget this breathtaking experience.
How incredible our country is! And how many Ukrainians don't know about it. But I am sure everything is still ahead. I must say that it is a great happiness to be true sons of such a powerful country as Ukraine.
