WE COMMENT

I have just read my classmates` translations of poems and essays devoted to our motherland. I was impressed by the fact, they the really can write and even well. I`ve read Marina`s poem under the title «Keep». I admit that this translation is very close to the original version. It contains typical rhythm, which sounds very good.

Then my glance fell on Olga’s poem. It is written in Ukrainian language. This is an absolutely great advantage. She wrote very nicely and I was glad to read it. Olga`s "My Motherland" is brilliant. I noticed that Maria Oberemok has an excellent text, which I advise everyone to read. She describes gorgeous landscapes, and Ukrainian exciting nature. I spotted her knowledge about our literature. Lulia Romanchuk also showed herself as a writer. I liked her sincere lines. All in all, I can say that everyone, whose poems I have read sounded very mature and professional.
