Made with respect and appreciation
The Teacher I Admire Most
Marina Gritsenko, 10b

Among the teachers who have taught me through my school life Tatyana Ivanovna is the one I admire most. I can't remember the first time I met her, because it was many years ago, at that time she didn't teach me.She has been teaching me only for a couple of months. However I took to her at once. It wasn't long before I realized how understanding and tolerant she was.She possesses such qualities essential for a good teacher as sense of humour and unbelievable energy. I am really amazed at her creativity. I appreciate her enthusiasm. Furthermore, I respect her because she is supportive, reasonably strict, but sometimes she can tell jokes to liven the lesson.

I strongly believe that good relationships are the key to effective learning and if students respect the teacher they will do their best to learn the subject. In my opinion Tatyana Ivanovna is easy and pleasant to deal with. She always cheers me up when I am in a bad mood. She is polite and tactful. She sees our point of view and gives students a lot of support and praise. She never plays favourites. I consider she is interested in me, because Tatyana Ivanovna always listens to my problems and tries to help. So I trust her a lot.

I always look forward to her lessons. I prefer her lessons because she explains boring material in an interesting way. Tatyana Ivanovna comes to the lessons with a positive attitude. All students feel comfortable in the atmosphere she creates at her lessons. When she presents the material she speaks clearly. Also she gives unusual and bright examples to help us understand. Moreover, there are lot of creative tasks. Her door is always open for consultation or for the students who want to retake the test and improve the mark. Each student is taught differently, so she gives a chance to the students who have academic difficulties. What is important she gives me a chance to do my work at my own pace.
I feel fortunate to be taught by Tatyana Ivanovna. She gave me vast knowledge of Ukrainian. But what is more important, she made a great impact on my personality and shaped my character. I shall always be grateful for comfort, advice and support she gave me whenever I needed it!
