10th FORMERS ADVISE: Dasha Solmomko, 10b

Feel nervous before exams?
Ask Dasha!

Dear 9th formers,

Hi! Now you are to make an important step of your life. These are Certificate of Secondary Education exams. If you want to pass your exams well, you must read these lines. Here is what I think you should do.
The most important thing is to listen to your teacher. She will really help you. You must do all important things in time: learn words, read texts and so on. Plan your time carefully.

As for the day of exam, the best advice I can give you is to avoid speaking to nervous people before entering the examination room. But if it is impossible, don’t take many sedative pills, which are supposed to make you feel less nervous, because you will feel sleepy at the exams. You could listen to classical music before the exams. Scientists are sure, that music can make your IQ higher. You also could take something in your hand arm and crumple it for 10 minutes – it will help to relieve stress. I strongly advise you to drink more water. Water will make your brains clear.
If you follow my advice, I’m sure you’ll pass your exams well. Good luck!
Best wishes,
10th former Dasha Solomko
