10th FORMERS ADVISE: Natasha Sych, 10a

Feel nervous before exams?
Ask Natasha!

Dear 9th former,

My name is Natasha and I want to congratulate you with enrollment in 9th grade. Last year I successfully passed the exam in English and I can give you some advice.

The most important thing to remember is to understand that this is just a test of your knowledge which you can improve during a couple of months preparing for the exam. The best thing you can do during the exam is to be attentive. When you do the task Reading, you must pay attention to small trifles. In this case you can answer tricky questions. I strongly advise you to revise all grammar, because it will be useful to you in the task Use of English. Also you must write an interesting, intelligible text. Don’t write too long – the longer you write, the more mistakes you may make. The best advice I can give you is to calm down before the exam.
I hope these suggestions will be of help to you. I’m sure that everything will be OK.
Good luck,
Natasha Sych
