10th FORMERS ADVISE: Andrey Udotov, 10a

Feel nervous before exams?
Ask Andrew!

Dear pupil of the 9th form,

I’m from the 10th form and I know that you will have some exams this year. I have to say, that sympathize with you a lot.

So, I decided to give you some advice:

• Firstly, you have to do ALL that your teachers tell you to do. (Even if you dislike the subject, you have no choice).
• Secondly, you don’t have to think, that if you are going to study in the 10th and 11th forms (continue secondary education in high/senior school) these exams are not important for you.

• Think more about your graduation day; it will make your mood better.
• Also, don’t concentrate on other languages, or you can surely fail your English.
• However, it doesn’t mean, that you don’t have to have free time. Your brain will break down if you will prepare for exams every day till 3:00 am.
• Moreover, if you start to prepare in June, the day of the exam will be very “funny” for you.
• Finally, if you want to work through all examination tasks, or to make cribs, and one very “clever” pupil, who knows all about everything, tells you that he knows, what examination tasks will be at the exam, don’t believe him! Do you hear me? DON’T. BELIEVE. HIM. You can just ignore him and continue preparing all examination tasks.

I’ve taken from all these tips my own experience. I did NOT follow any of the advice I have written here. Of course, I haven’t failed my exam, but that was just a great fortune. So, try not to repeat my mistakes and pass your exams perfectly.
Hope this will be of some help to you.
Good luck,
A very extraordinary 10th former

P.S. If you know somebody from 10th or 11th form, don’t be afraid to ask him or her something about the exams.
Good luck! ;)
Lots of love,
Andrew, 10 A
