AVATAR

The name of my favourite movie is Avatar. It was directed by James Cameron, the acknowledged master of science fiction genre. It was released in 2009 by 20th Century Fox and became the greatest box office hit.

I first saw this film at the movie theatre right after it was released. Every time when I watch it I realize that it is one of the greatest films ever made of this genre. I like this movie very much because it has a combination of fantasy and reality, romance and hard scenes, special effects and sound tracks. The plot is the following. The scene is laid on a fictional planet called Pandora. The main character is Jake Sully, a marine who has suffered a spinal injury and his life is going nowhere until he gets a chance to go to the far-off Pandora. There he takes his dead brother's place, piloting a genetically engineered "avatar." The avatar was built out of alien DNA, so it allows Sully to walk among the Na'Vi, the giant blue natives of Pandora, and look like one of them. Sully is a brave, honest and fair warrior, like the Na'Vi tribespeople. That’s why he finds acceptance in their ranks. 6 He supports their fight against the cruel plans of his fellow humans to take over their planet and to destroy their race.

OVATSIYA

My favourite store is OVATSIYA. It is a shop with goods for dancers and sportsmen. I like it because there are a lot of useful things. I buy there everything I need for dancing.

It is situated at 17, Faleevskaya Street. It is open from 10 am till 7 pm, from Monday to Saturday, and from 10 am till 5 pm on Sunday. It offers delightful clothes like ballet skirts and ballroom dresses. They sell high quality shoes like pointe shoes and half shoes for gymnastics. You can buy wonderful sport goods like colorful gymnastic balls, jump ropes and maces. Most goods have normal price, but some of them are quite expensive. The goods are of good quality. In addition there are different fantastic key rings, big and small hairpins and nice bags.

Müller

My favourite store is Müller. It is a perfume and toy store. I like it because it is a family trap. We go there only when I ask and then I cannot get my parents out of this fantastic shop.

It is usually located in the center of each city in Germany. It is open from 10 in the morning till 8 in the evening, from Monday to Saturday. The toy department of the shop offers designer cards, toys, board games, the latest computer games and the perfume department of the shop sells cosmetics, many brand perfumes such as Chanel, Cristian Dior and others. Of course, they are quite expensive but of good quality. In addition, there are brand T-shirts and chocolate sweets with brand labels. But the disadvantage of the store is service. The shop does not have many staff. But the shop assistants are polite and helpful. There is also a small supermarket. They also have many discounts during different holidays, for example Christmas, the 14th of February and others. There are sales of toys, consumer electronics (gadgets) and cosmetics as well.

CITRUS

My favourite store is CITRUS. It’s an electronics shop. I like it because you can buy there everything you want. It is situated in Sovetskaya Street as well. It is open all week from 10:00 am tll 20:00 pm. It offers high quality telephones, laptops of different and expensive IMacs and led watches. All goods are expensive in CITRUS. The goods are of perfect quality. In addition, there are different cases and chargers. The service is good there. There is a lot of staff. The shop assistants are polite and helpful, they always smile and are kind. There you can play on tablets PS. You can take picture on any phone.

Lviv Croissants

My favourite store is Lviv Croissants. It is a bakery. Lviv Croissants is the most lovely bakery in Nikolaev.

I like it because this is a very beautiful and nice place. It is located at 60/d Admirala Makarova St. It is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 8am till 10pm, on Monday from 10am till 10pm.

It offers a great variety of salty and sweet croissants. In this bakery you can find a lot of kinds of croissants for example꞉ with salmon, with tuna, Amsterdam, with pork and mushrooms and many other options. This bakery has a very wide selection of hot drinks. Goods in this bakery are quite expensive. Products are of good quality there. This store has a very interesting offer, you can make your own personal croissant. In addition, you can add marshmallow, mint and ice to drinks. In this store the service is very good. This store has enough staff. They are friendly polite and helpful there. This store has a very beautiful view on Sovetskaya St. Workshops are held in this store every month.

MY PLAY

Nykolaev is a modern town with plenty of shops. There are some good shopping areas. There is a great variety of shops: confectioners’, bookshops and bookstalls, newsagents’, chemists’, florists’ and flower stalls, branches of different banks, souvenir and gift shops and jewelers’. For shoppers with big bank account there are plenty of boutiques.

My favourite store is My Play. It is a toy shop. I like it because you can buy any toy you want. It is situated at 12, Sovetskaya Street. It is open from 10:00 am till 20:00 pm, 7 days a week. It offers soft toys, interesting board games and amazing loud speakers. The goods are quite expensive. However, they are of good quality. In addition, there are funny stickers, lovely souvenirs, interesting books and little colourful bags or purses.

Supernatural Family

All people in the world are different. But what happens with people who are very different from others?

In a family, there lived ten unusual people: two parents and eight children. No one knew what happened with these children but all of them had different abilities. They didn’t have friends and rarely went outside.

And one day these children went to school. They had good appearance but when nobody watched, they became uncontrolled. It was the first lesson Math. When Mathematics teacher came into classroom, she saw something horrible. Two twins were watching photo album, their superpower was transforming everything they saw into stone. One girl was watering a pot plant. She could grow flowers very fast. One boy was drawing a man on the blackboard; he could transform pictures into reality. One girl was reading a book. She was very clever and could read books very fast. One boy was eating inedible – he ate everything when he was hungry. One curly boy was wearing sandals with socks. He always wore something strange. And the girl with glasses was writing something. She could erase memory. So when the teacher screamed that girl erased everyone’s memory. The lesson began and no one could remember about it.

So that was the first day in school of this strange family. But it is a secret.
