I’d like to tell you an incredible story about the debonair person – Nick Vujicic. Maybe, Nick Vujicic has the strongest will in the world. He’s the man without any legs or arms, but he thinks, that his life is really beautiful. He believes in God and he’s a Christian preacher. Nick is also a millionaire! It’s unbelievable that a person like Nick has achieved all that.

His full name is Nick James Vujicic, and he was born on 4th of December in 1982. He was born in Melbourne, Australia. Nick was born without arms and legs; he had no legs, but two small feet, one of which had two toes. With the help of his left foot he learned how to walk and nobody could believe it. Nick learned how to jump into the water and swim, ride a skateboard lying on his stomach and pushing the left foot off the ground, how to write with a pen and use a computer.

FORM 7, YEAR TEST SPEAKING: Christmas

Christmas in Great Britain

Plan

  1. Tell about Christmas in Britain
  2. Tell how we prepared nativity scene in our classroom and what you did for it
  3. Tell how you celebrated Christmas with your family and what good charity deed you did

Christmas is a religious holiday which is celebrated by Christians over the world. The word “Christmas” comes from the words “Christ’s Mass”, the church service which is devoted to the birth of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells the story of how an angel appeared to shepherds and told them that the holy child had been born to Mary and Joseph A star appeared in the sky and led (lead-led-led) the shepherds to Bethlehem to the stable where the baby Jesus was lying in a manger’s cradle pillowed upon the hay. The Three Wise Men (or the Magi) who were the kings of three eastern countries also followed the star to Bethlehem and brought the gifts of myrrh and gold to the holy child. It is said that after the Magi had returned home, they gave their belongings to the poor and went out into the world to spread the Good News.

Thank you, Lisa Parnak

First of all, I would like to say that it is time to take drastic measures to improve health care in Ukraine. In my opinion, the standards of health care have grown worse and worse recently. Firstly, outside cities in villages there aren’t enough hospitals, clinics and even health care workers. So, people can’t get emergency health care, so bad diseases and injuries have become a major problem. Secondly, our hospitals don’t have any modern equipment. So, sometimes doctors can’t treat patients even with routine medical problems. To my mind, if government built more modern hospitals and trained health care workers better than now, Ukrainians would be a healthy nation.
