Making Logical Assumptions Based on Pictures

Spring is coming to an end and summer holidays will begin soon. I saw a picture that reminds me of warm summer days and I want to make some assumptions about it.

It might be a park with a tiny place for playing volleyball. Also it could be a special volleyball ground in her yard. It can’t be a professional ball park because there isn’t a special coverage. It must be quite warm because the girl is wearing a T-shirt. The sun must have gone behind a cloud, because I can’t see its rays. I think it might be a day time. She must be there with her friends because she can’t play volleyball alone. The girl must be drinking water because she is holding a bottle in her hands and she must have got tired of playing. She must want to rest. I think she can’t be a professional volleyball player, because she is not in a special uniform. She must have been playing for a long time. She might have been preparing for the competition. Also she might just have been playing volleyball for her own pleasure. It is very possible that she might have been filmed in the program about a healthy lifestyle. In future she might win a game or a competition. Maybe she will train a lot. Or she may stop playing and go home.

So I have such assumptions about this picture, but it is only my opinion.

Making Logical Assumptions Based on Pictures

I really like summer and yesterday I decided to search for some summer photos. I came across this lovely one. I really liked this photo. So, here are my assumptions based on this photo.

It must be a huge hotel. Also it may be a private house. It couldn`t be a flat. The weather must be sunny. It may be either morning or day time. It can`t be evening, the sun doesn’t shine so brightly in the evening. It must be hot, girls are wearing swimsuits. However, water must be cold. The girls must be relaxing. They also may be sunbathing. They might be speaking about something. The girls may have been lying for a short time because they aren’t tanned. Also they can`t have been lying in this pose very long. The girls couldn’t lie this way till evening. The hat might fall off her head and get wet.

Thanks to this photo I recollected all my summer memories.

Making Logical Assumptions Based on Pictures

It was an ordinary evening. I was sitting in the living room and watching TV. Suddenly in a commercial I saw an interesting photo which I want to describe to you.

It must be a river in Asia because the water Is dark-green. There is also a man standing in the boat and a crocodile attacking It. The weather must be cloudy as there were no sun rays. It must be quite warm because she man is wearing only shorts. The man definitely looks scared. The crocodile must be trying to bite the man. It must be very annoyed with his fishing nets. It also might be hungry. The man must be thinking how to avoid the crocodile`s bite and to survive. He can`t be worrying about his boat because it seems to be very old and his life is more important than it. He must have been fishing for a long time because his net is full of fish. However, he can`t be an experienced fisherman as they never catch fish in rivers full of crocodiles. He might have fished there before without coming across crocodiles. The man might fall from the boat into the water. He might be eaten by this alligator. He also might survive and escape the danger.

However, it was just an advertising of the photoshop services. The man was just an actor and the alligator was taken from another picture.

Making Logical Assumptions Based on Situations Imaginary Library

It was 1879, in a small American town of Charleston and then throughout America when all the books disappeared. They could have been somewhere but no one even had any idea about their location. At that time books must have been ordered only from France and Italy because in these countries a lot of clever and talented authors lived and of course delivery of books cost a lot of money and time. Then only the richest people in America could own books and textbooks were not issued in schools and the more books a student had the higher the status of his parents and him was.

Fiona Phiona Hopkins was a 12-year-old girl who studied at school for children of rich parents and her grandma Kate Hopkins was a former teacher of this school. She must have been one of the most respected people of the town because besides the fact that she was an honored teacher she was also a brilliant writer. Her masterpiece of fantasy genre, the book called The Imaginary Library was lost with the rest of the books. The only dream of Kate and her granddaughter had been to publish this book, Kate had spent a huge amount of money and had given her whole soul to create it. That’s why Fiona all childhood must have been collecting money to buy it from a man who must have stolen all the books of the town. As I have said before, unfortunately their family can’t have had a lot of money to buy all textbooks for school. Every day she went to school and all weekend she worked at home with her grandmother while other children walked and had fun. Fiona had a friend Claire whose parents were improperly rich so their daughter had all the textbooks, but she studied poorly and therefore Fiona was helping her. Claire really wanted to get into the company of children who were very smart and who had all the books, but she thought that for this she needed even more books and 8 the status after that must be higher.

Making Logical Assumptions Based on Situations

You must have heard about ancient Greek theatres that became the basis of all theatres. The main feature of ancient theatres was that all the roles in the performances were performed by men. Just imagine that such theatres still exist – women, children, old people are played by men.

One of those theatres might have gone on tour to different states of US. Not everywhere they were met with the same delight. Once they came to the N city. The weather was great so the artists decided to walk around the city dressed up like ladies. They were happy to see the sights of the city and to talk to the residents. They talked about their theater, inviting everyone to attend their performance in the evening and offering to buy tickets. Most residents happily agreed to come because troupes rarely came to them. But there were those who looked at the men in women’s outfit with contempt. The problem of gender inequality might still be existing there. Walking past the bar, “ladies” ran into a drunk company who tried to start a fight. The actors were forced to flee, and when they stopped, they didn’t understand where they were. They must have got lost.

They saw an elderly African American who was working in his garden and turned to him for help. He showed the actors the way to the theater and was rewarded with tickets to the show for him and his family.
