"І як тепер тебе забути?": translated by Julia Tsvetkova, 11b

How should I forget?

How should I forget?
My soul is on the edge.
The poison like that
I have never had.
Such clear mourning,
Such craving thirst
Through silence calling
Such glow around me.
When the stars are so quiet
During every day and night,
It’s likely not to be a poem
It’s just your blossom slowly falling.

"І як тепер тебе забути?": translated by Ira Stepanova, 11b

And how must I forget you now?

And how must I forget you now?
The soul came to its edge
I’ve never drunk, if you allow
A poison taste so strange.

A sorrow which would be so pure
A longing which you waited for.
A cry in silence would be cure
And you would only beg for more.

You’d never hear a stellar silence
A day would see so infinite
And you will hear flowers’ fragrance
When I will threw it under your feet.

"І як тепер тебе забути?": translated by Maria Kostenko, 11b

And how should I forget you now?

How can your existence be forgotten now?
My soul deliriously wandered to the edge.
I’ve never before such a poison allowed
for myself.
It was definitely more than strange.
Such droughty thirst, such crystal clear sorrow,
Such squall in hush, such flame which swept everything around.
Such stellar silence, immense today and no tomorrow.
Its not a poem, it’s rather flowers,
Which are covering for you just all the ground.

"І як тепер тебе забути?": translated by Daniil Kardashov, 11b

“How can I forget you….”

And how can I forget you now?
My soul has reached the end
I haven’t ever drunk such strange poison
Such hunger for thirst
Such jay in the silence
Such shining around
Such starry silence
Such an endless day and night
It can’t be poems
But the flowers thrown to you.

"І як тепер тебе забути?": translated by Julia Kolchik, 11b

And how should I forget you now?

And how should I forget you now?
My soul wandered to the edge.
I don’t drink any poison, I don’t allow
You don’t have to believe in such repledge
I never drink a piercing sadness
Desires of thirst burning circle
And the scream, when the words were silent
Such a light and a glow encircle
Such a stellar absence of sound
And infinity in destiny.
No poems and sighs are found
But flowers thrown to you.

"І як тепер тебе забути?": translated by Diana Nedbay, 11b

How can I forget you…

And how can I forget you now,
When my soul has reached the edge?
The poison, I’ve drunk, was strange,
I want to share with you the flavor:
Felt crystal sadness,
Thirst in mound,
That scream in silence,
Glow around.
It seems that day would never end
But, what to say, my dear friend,
For you it’s not a poem, it’s a plant.

"І як тепер тебе забути?": translated by Maria Popovich, 11b

How can I forget you…

How can I forget you?
My soul reached the end.
I have never drunk
Such strange poison
Such pure sorrow,
Such heavy thirst,
Such a jay in silence,
Such shining around.
Such a starry rest.
Such an endless day!...
It can't be even the poem,
But flowers thrown to you.

"І як тепер тебе забути?": translated by Anna Gaisha, 11b

HOW CAN I EVER FORGET YOU?

How can I ever forget you?
My soul stands by the end of the shore
Not sure what is in this poison
Cause I’ve never tried it before.
Neither have tried real sadness
Nor devastating thirst
Nor noise in the silent madness
Nor the emotional burst.
Neither have tried joy of star nights
Nor boundless passing of time…
It may be not just a poem
But truth to a good friend of mine.

"І як тепер тебе забути?": translated by Valentin Matviets, 11b

And how can I forget you now?

And how can I forget you now?
My soul remains denied.
The poison hitting you so strong,
I never ever tried.
The sadness, in its purest form,
The thirst, that’s bursting from inside,
The silence causing you to storm,
The sheen around wide.
Consuming silence of the stars.
Infinity of seconds.
It’s not the poems,
Not even alike!
These are the flowers,
Thrown to you – The essence…

"ЗВИЧАЙНА СОБІ МИТЬ": translated by Julia Tsvetkova, 11b

“An ordinary moment”

An ordinary moment, the house with a furnace,
The lilac drunk of dews and rains,
This all will be reminiscence,
And after that – the fairy tales.

Half of your lifetime will have passed,
When you will suddenly realize
That everything surrounding you
Will force, of course, to memorize.
