Almost everyone has their own role model. Some of us may find our role models in family and friends, while others - in celebrities, and sometimes even fictional characters. Celebrities are always in sight, they are adored and they are hated, they are admired and they are laughed at.

It's not that easy to become famous. You must have a strong will and be purposeful and self-confident.

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong about having a role model. They inspire us to be better. But it is important to choose your role model carefully. He or she must be humane, reasonable and modest. Your role model should also be successful at the job they do.

I’d like to tell you about my role model. It is an American businessman and dollar billionaire Elon Musk.

He currently owns PayPal, Tesla, SpaceX and other big companies. I also know that he has appeared in over 15 films. Elon is not a family man, he has 5 children, from his first wife, after whom he has had four more. Elon was born in Africa, and his family was quite wealthy. His father had 5 houses, a farm and his own yacht. Elon's father, Errol, had a pilot's license and sometimes he rented a plane to travel and took his children with him.

Amybeth McNulty is an Irish-Canadian actress. "It’s great, she said about homeschooling, I really liked it, and I don’t think I missed anything". At present she mainly studies on the Internet. She described it as «a kind of self-discipline». When she was younger, she was more interested in dancing and was educated in ballet. Later she became involved in theater and staged amateur performances at the «an Grianán Theatre» in Letterkenny.

This is a man in a costume of metal flying and saving the world from villains. He is always on guard of order and will not give offense to humans. And when he lands everyone recognizes him. It’s a fabulous Iron Man. And the actor who starred in all these films is Robert Downey Jr. It is a well-known name in Hollywood. He is also known to the public for the films "Sherlock Holmes" and "Dr. Doolittle" and his life story isn’t less incredible than the films he starred at.

However Robert Downey has several skeletons in his closet. In his childhood his father was making him a professional actor but besides he made him addicted to drugs. He was even in a prison for that. The reason is that due to his innate pliability, he could not say no. In his youth he was very quick-tempered and even quitted his studying at school.

J.K. Rowling is a famous British writer. She is also a screenwriter and producer. She is celebrated as the author of books about Harry Potter and fantastic beasts. She wrote many different books which are not popular as Harry Potter, but no less interesting.

Joanne divorced her husband and lived in poverty until she released her first book about a boy who survived. They became a worldwide bestseller and led the writer to success. An interesting fact is that she wrote her first story at the age of six - it was the story of a rabbit named Rabbit who fell ill with measles. There are many theories about who this interesting woman is and how she managed to write seven books about Harry Potter. Many people find it impossible to imagine a whole world in their heads. So the theory arose that in fact Joanne was Rita Skitter, who was kicked out of the wizarding world, and she, in revenge, spread stories about Hogwarts and wizards for Muggles.

Mary Jackson is famous as the first black female engineer in NASA. Mary participated in the creation of the first piloted spaceship in the US.

She started with the professional training and in 1979 gained the most senior title within the engineering department. Mary became the first dark-skinned woman who studied and completed the course by the University of Virginia held at the all-white Hampton High school. For it she had to win the court trial, she did it and became a successful engineer. Of course many people helped Mary. Also after her achievement Mary Jackson started to help other woman get high positions in the realm of science. She served as both the Federal Women's Program Manager in the Office of Equal Opportunity Programs and as the Affirmative Action Program Manager.

MY ROLE MODEL

Some people may think all celebrities make negative impacts on us no matter how good they are and that they are not supposed to be categorized as role models. However, I define a role model as a person who inspires us to do something good in life. So I believe that celebrities can be categorized as role models. However, we should be cautious when choosing a role model as it can turn us into a completely different person. If you have a good example – you will become better. To my mind, for this essay I have chosen a good example as I have reasons to call this person a good man.

Harry Edward Styles (born on the 1 st of February, 1994) is an English singer, songwriter, and actor. His musical career began in 2010 as a solo contestant on the British music competition series The X Factor. Following his elimination early on, he was brought back to join the boy band One Direction, which went on to become one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.
